Pastoral care for Planning Center churches.
Notice Care is pastoral care software that connects to Planning Center People. Sign in with Planning Center once, approve access, and your active people come into Care with their email, phone, birthday and anniversary. Every night Notice picks up whoever's new or changed. Your care team tracks needs and follow-ups in Notice, and Planning Center stays exactly as it was.
Connect in about a minute.
- Open People in Notice. A church admin taps Connect Planning Center.
- Approve Notice in Planning Center. Planning Center shows its own sign-in page and asks you to allow access to your people. Approve it.
- Tap Sync now. Back in Notice, your active people start coming into Care. A large church can take a few minutes, and the sync picks up where it left off if it's interrupted.
- Leave it alone. Every night around 2 AM your church's time, Notice picks up anyone new or changed. Tap Sync now anytime you don't want to wait.
The details your care team actually uses.
- Active people from Planning Center People, with their name.
- Email and phone, using each person's primary address and number.
- Birthday and anniversary, so they show up in Care's "Coming up" list and the Monday email.
- A starting category. New people come in as Regular Attender. Change anyone's category anytime.
Notice asks Planning Center for access to People only. It doesn't read your giving, groups, check-ins or services.
Planning Center stays the source of truth.
Once your people are in, your care team gets to work.
- A care board that sorts needs by urgency: High, Medium, Low and Encouraging.
- Follow-ups with a name and a "follow up by" date, plus a notification to whoever has it on the day it's due.
- Confidential notes you can limit to admins or only yourself.
- A monthly care report that lists open needs nobody has touched in 30 days.
On Elvanto or Breeze instead?
Elvanto: sign in with Elvanto and approve access, or paste your API key from Settings → Account Settings.
Breeze: type your Breeze web address (like yourchurch.breezechms.com) and paste the API key your account owner finds under Manage Account → API Key. Breeze has no built-in anniversary field, so Notice brings one in only if your profiles have a date field named Anniversary, Wedding Date, Marriage Date or Wedding Anniversary.
Both sync the same way: read-only, every night, matched instead of duplicated. Full details: Elvanto and Breeze.
Planning Center questions.
Does Notice change anything in Planning Center?
No. Notice only reads your people. Nothing you do in Notice is written back to Planning Center.
What can Notice see in Planning Center?
Notice asks for access to Planning Center People, and it brings in active people's names, primary email and phone, birthday and anniversary. It doesn't ask for giving, groups, check-ins or services.
How often does it sync?
Every night around 2 AM in your church's time zone. A church admin can also tap Sync now anytime.
What happens when someone leaves the church?
When someone is archived or deleted in Planning Center, Notice hides them in Care on the next sync. Nothing is deleted, so their care history stays. If they come back in Planning Center, they reappear in Care.
We already added people to Care by hand. Will we get duplicates?
No. Notice matches people already in Care by email or name and updates them. Birthdays and anniversaries you entered by hand are kept.
Can we connect Planning Center and another system at the same time?
One at a time. To switch from Elvanto or Breeze to Planning Center, disconnect the first one, then connect Planning Center.
Does the connection cost extra?
No. It's included with Notice Care, which is $10 per care user per month (two-user minimum), or part of the $49/month Team + Care bundle.
Is Notice made by Planning Center?
No. Notice is an independent product. It connects through Planning Center's official sign-in and API, and it isn't affiliated with or endorsed by Planning Center.
