Pastoral care for Elvanto churches.
Notice Care is pastoral care software that connects to Elvanto. Connect once and your people come into Care with their email, phone, birthday and anniversary. Every night Notice picks up whoever's new or changed. Your care team logs needs and follow-ups in Notice, and nothing in Elvanto changes.
Two ways to connect. Pick whichever suits your church.
Sign in with Elvanto
A church admin opens People in Notice, taps Connect Elvanto, signs in on Elvanto's own page and approves access. Then taps Sync now.
Paste your API key
Copy your church's API key from Settings → Account Settings in Elvanto, paste it into Notice once, and tap Sync now. Your sync then runs on your own key, so it doesn't depend on anyone else's sign-in.
Either way, your people start coming in as soon as you tap Sync now. After that, Notice refreshes them every night around 2 AM your church's time. Tap Sync now anytime you don't want to wait.
The details your care team actually uses.
- Everyone who isn't archived in Elvanto.
- The name they go by. If someone has a preferred name in Elvanto, Care uses it.
- Email and phone. Notice picks the mobile number first and falls back to the home number.
- Birthday and anniversary, so they show up in Care's "Coming up" list and the Monday email.
- A starting category. New people come in as Regular Attender. Change anyone's category anytime.
Elvanto stays the source of truth.
Once your people are in, your care team gets to work.
- A care board that sorts needs by urgency: High, Medium, Low and Encouraging.
- Follow-ups with a name and a "follow up by" date, plus a notification to whoever has it on the day it's due.
- Confidential notes you can limit to admins or only yourself.
- A monthly care report that lists open needs nobody has touched in 30 days.
Elvanto questions.
Elvanto asks me to approve "Manage People." Will Notice change our records?
No. Manage People is the only people permission Elvanto offers outside apps, and it covers both reading and writing. Notice only reads. If you'd rather not grant it, paste your API key instead.
Should we sign in or use an API key?
Signing in takes a few clicks on Elvanto's own page. The API key is useful if you'd rather your sync run on your church's own key. Both bring in the same people and details.
How often does it sync?
Every night around 2 AM in your church's time zone. A church admin can also tap Sync now anytime.
What happens when someone leaves the church?
When someone is archived or deleted in Elvanto, Notice hides them in Care on the next sync. Nothing is deleted, so their care history stays. If they come back in Elvanto, they reappear in Care.
We already added people to Care by hand. Will we get duplicates?
No. Notice matches people already in Care by email or name and updates them. Birthdays and anniversaries you entered by hand are kept.
Does the connection cost extra?
No. It's included with Notice Care, which is $10 per care user per month (two-user minimum), or part of the $49/month Team + Care bundle.
Is Notice made by Elvanto?
No. Notice is an independent product. It connects through Elvanto's official sign-in and API, and it isn't affiliated with or endorsed by Elvanto.
